See-Through Jungle Vine Pouch

The pouch is made from jungle vine called ‘Pied’ in Lao. It is made by a Khmu ethnic group in Oudomxay, northern Laos. They are known for their hand-crocheted bags using ‘Pied’ vines. Traditionally, ‘Pied’ vine would be crocheted into straps and bags used by the Khmu to haul wood, carry vegetables and herbs from the forest due to it’s high durability
